The Mazda CX-5 has been given a series of enhancements to boost its ride and refinement.

Mazda has retuned the CX-5 suspension to improve ride comfort as well as cut road and suspension noise.

The CX-5 also gets a new clutch restart system that lets the driver fire the engine back up again in the event of stalling without the need for the stop/start button to be pressed. It acts within three seconds and is fitted to all manual CX-5s.

The SE-L Lux and Sport models also get slightly more standard equipment, including a memory function for the electric driver's seat. An electrically adjustable passenger seat is also offered. Black leather trim comes as standard, while a light-coloured leather is now offered as a Β£200 option.

Prices remain unchanged, and start at Β£21,595.
