When selling your car privately, beware of companies that claim to have buyers lined up.

I put my Toyota Aygo in the classifieds a while ago and shortly afterwards I got a call from a company claiming to have buyers waiting with the cash.

I paid them about 90, but that was the last I heard from them. I called back, but they didn't want to know. I eventually sold my car through my original ad, which cost only about 15.
