Our cars: Renault Captur video review

  • Renault Captur joins What Car? fleet
  • Mini SUV is a rival for Nissan Juke and Skoda Yeti
  • Run by deputy content editor Ed Callow

The Renault Captur is the latest car to join the What Car? long-term test fleet, and deputy content editor Ed Callow is running this stylish mini SUV for the next year.

As standard, the Captur comes with a decent amount of kit, including Bluetooth, aux-in and USB connectivity, front and rear electric windows and alloy wheels. We've chosen the Dynamique MediaNav trim, which adds climate control, keyless entry and push-button start, a touch-screen infotainment system with sat-nav, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

We picked the 1.5-litre diesel engine as it offers the best fuel economy, recording a 58.3mg True MPG result, which beats rivals such as the Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008 and Skoda Yeti.
