I've had this car two weeks now replacing a BMW 320dSE. I had some concerns before i took delivery based on reviews that always favoured the 3-series with some particular comments about the Merc's "grumbly" engine. Well I'm delighted with the Merc, its actually very refined and quiet and so much better than the BMW in most ways that matter. It handles well, has a very comfortable ride, nice interior, and has simply stunning performance. Its just so relaxing and comfortable to drive. Negatives are foot operated parking brake and its not as economical as Mercedes would have you believe. Its beyond me how anyone could rate a 320d above a C250cdi. Its true that overall BMW use better quality interior plastics but unfortunatley thay use them in a way that creates zero ambience unless you like stark dark places.
Had my new 250 sport cdi 125 edition one week and although still in the honeymoon period the car is fantastic. Responsive, quick and yet refined. Motorway travel is like floating on air with a surge of power when required. Easy to use controls and there is a lot! Overall 5 star car.
I have been driving the C250CDI Sport for a week on corporate demonstration as I am ordering my new car this month. IT IS A VERY GOOD CAR!
The engine is superb and much more responsive than BMW 320d. I fear my license may not see out the month! The interior is exceptional and a massive improvement in this facelifted version (I would not have considered the C-class previously because of the bland interior). Bluetooth and sat-nav are easy to use via the command system and the central display for the driver is clear and useful.
I cannot really fault the car apart from on economy, I am only getting mid-late 30s. However, I have to confess that I have been driving harder than normal because it is such fun. Oh, and I still cant get used to the hand(foot) brake,
My wife wants me to order a 7 seater rather than this... I can see i'm going to have a fight on my hands!

I bought my well equipped (professional nav, xenon adaptive lights, sports 8 speed auto gearbox, heated leather, privacy glass, comfort pack) 320D…
Another reviewer has pretty much nailed specifics about this car which I agree completely with so I won't repeat. As far as the diesel A4 range goes…
