Toyota has added Active and Sport models to its Yaris Hybrid range, with both models on sale now.

The Active model, priced from Β£14,995, is now the entry-level Yaris Hybrid, and comes equipped with dual-zone climate control, trip computer, electric front windows and split-folding rear seats.

It’s more than Β£1000 cheaper than the next Yaris Hybrid model in the range, the Toyota Yaris Hybrid Icon, and has a claimed 85.6mpg and 75g/km of CO2 emissions which makes it exempt from the London congestion charge.

This price includes a Β£300 introductory offer on orders made by 30 September and cars registered by 31 December this year, after which the price goes up to Β£15,295.

The Sport model costs Β£16,695 and sits between Icon and Excel in the range, with a claimed 78.5mpg and 82g/km.

It also brings rear privacy glass, 16in alloys, a rear spoiler and a floating roof effect, as well as climate control, electric windows and the Toyota Touch 2 touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio, Bluetooth and reversing camera. A panoramic sunroof can be added for Β£550.

Both cars have launch offers available from Toyota, including a 0% APR representative finance deal on the Yaris Hybrid Sport with a Β£900 finance deposit, while the Active model is available on finance with no deposit and 4.9% APR representative.
