The Mazda 3 Sport Black special-edition model has been added to the 3 hatchback range, available to order from 1 April.
What is it?
A special-edition, style-focused variant of the 3 hatchback.
How much equipment does it come with?
Cosmetic upgrades include 18in alloys and a sporty styling kit that gives it a black front splitter, side skirts, rear bumper, roof spoiler and door mirrors.
Inside, there’s an upgraded sound system, reversing camera, keyless entry, cruise control, dual-zone climate control and a 7.0in touchscreen display with sat-nav, all as standard.
The special edition is available with red or white paint options, and also comes with half-leather, half-suede seats.
What engines can I choose from?
It’s available only with Mazda’s 118bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine, our favourite in the range, and a six-speed manual gearbox.
How much does it cost?
The Sport Black edition costs £20,995, putting at the top of the Mazda range for that petrol engine, above Sport Nav trim, which cost £20,195. In the UK, 800 examples will be available to buy.
