New MG ZS EV vs new Renault Zoe
Renault has upgraded the Zoe with a super range, while MG is undercutting every comparable electric car. Who has the brighter idea?...

Our verdict
The new Zoe may not look a lot different from its predecessor, but it’s a drastically better car. With a range that competes with that of many premium electric cars and a smart new interior, it’s a great buy. It’s just a shame there’s no longer a battery leasing option to bring the price down.
The ZS EV finishes a close second, and it’s actually the better choice if you regularly need to cart around four adults. You also get loads of equipment as standard for a great price, helping to make up for its so-so driving dynamics and shorter range.
