Peugeot has slashed prices across its combustion and electric models, introducing savings of up to £7000.
The news follows pricing realignment of the recently-updated Peugeot 308 and 408, sees Peugeot cut the list prices of its 208, 2008, 3008 and 5008, including petrol-powered, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric variants.
Prices for the combustion 208 have been cut by £2615, bringing the on-the-road (OTR) price to £22,545. Meanwhile, the e-208 is now £5155 cheaper (when you take into account the £1500 saving from the Government’s Electric Car Grant), with a new list price of £23,495 – less than £1000 more expensive than its ICE counterpart.

Similarly, the list prices of the 2008 and e-2008 have been cut by £3560 and £5905 (including ECG), bringing them down to £25,695 and £27,995 respectively.
The adjusted list price of the e-3008 means the entry-level 73kWh variant will likely qualify for the £1500 ECG, bringing the list price down to £35,495 (£36,995 without the grant). That’s just £550 more than the new price of the ICE 3008, which now starts at £34,945.
Finally, prices for the hybrid 5008 have been slashed by £2090, bringing the price down to £38,545. Its all-electric twin, the e-5008, receives the biggest discount of £7965, with a new list price of £40,595.
This pricing readjustment means that all versions of the e-3008 and e-5008 fall under the £50,000 luxury electric car threshold, meaning drivers will no longer have to pay £440 per year in years two to six of ownership, saving them £2200 in road tax.

All versions of the hybrid and plug-in hybrid Peugeot 3008 are priced below the £40,000 luxury car tax threshold for combustion vehicles.
Peugeot also offers its Electric Promise warranty on all its EVs, including 8-years/100,000-miles of cover, plus an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty and access to a public charging pass.
