Skoda's new Fabia Scout estate is now on sale.

The new model is based on mid-spec 2 trim level, but for a 1260 premium adds chunky exterior cladding, special 16-inch alloy wheels and silver roof rails for a rugged, SUV-style look.

Other added kit includes cruise control, stability control, privacy glass, electric rear windows, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, aluminium pedals and a front armrest.

All versions of the Fabia Scout are front-wheel drive only. There are three engines available an 85bhp 1.4-litre petrol, an 80bhp 1.4-litre diesel or a 105bhp 1.9-litre diesel. All come with a five-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Prices start at 12,815 for the 1.4 petrol model and rise to 14,380 for the 1.9 diesel.
