Passenger & boot space

How it copes with people and clutter

There’s loads of space in the front, with plenty of head and leg room for a couple of tall adults, and enough width for occupants to sprawl out. However, there’s very little leg room in the rear. In fact, we’d go so far as to say that the rear seats are better suited to a couple of weekend bags than they are to humans.

The 8 Series Convertible has a reasonable boot, so you'll fit a few small suitcases, but it's too shallow for anything bulky. That said, the S-Class Cabriolet doesn't offer a lot more space, so try the Bentley Continental GT Convertible if you need to carry a set of golf clubs.
