New Fiat 500 vs Peugeot e-208: verdict

The Fiat 500 city car has entered an exciting new era by going fully electric. But how does it stack up against the highly accomplished Peugeot e-208?...

Fiat 500 vs Peugeot e-208 rears

This is a tough one to call, because these are two of the best small electric cars on the market. The e-208’s roomier interior and bigger boot will make the decision an easy one for some, plus its longer range between charges and quieter cruising manners are very compelling. It’s just a little pricey, with bigger and better alternatives, such as the Volkswagen ID.3, available for not much more.

That isn’t a problem the new 500 has, being significantly cheaper no matter how you’re buying. Factor in its better driving position, more user-friendly infotainment system and a range that isn’t too far behind its French rival’s and it just edges the win.
