The 58-year-old from Caerleon, Wales, won 45 million in Friday's Euromillions lottery.

Winner's first-ever new car
Despite having only a few days to wonder how he's going to spend his millions, he is already quite specific about the car he'd like to buy with a small part of his winnings.

Les said: 'I've never owned a new car, so I'm going to buy a new car now.

'My dream car is a Range Rover Sport, black with ivory interior. Not that I've thought about it much!'

What Car recommends

Name Les Scadding
Job Mechanic and Euromillions lottery millionaire

So, you've just won 45 million on the Euromillions lottery and a Range Rover Sport is at the top of your wish list.

It's not a bad replacement for winner Les Scadding's Citroen C5, but what other cars do we think might suit the lucky lotto king?

Land Rover Defender 90 Station Wagon
Price 21,875
The Range Rover Sport is flash, but if Les wants something a little more inconspicuous, then how about the utilitarian Defender? What Car? readers have recently voted it their favourite car of all and reckon its simple, unpretentious approach means it doesn't stick out and attract attention.

Lamborghini Reventon
Price 1,114,560
If flash, and fast, really is the way forward, then Les should take a look at the Lamborghini Reventon. It's being offered by Lux Auto Sport in Luxembourg for just over 1 million. Like the Defender, it too might get under the radar, thanks to its carbonfibre construction.

Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder
Price 2,000,000 to 5,000,000
Beautiful, sought-after car. Entry point is for a steel-bodied example without an interesting history, while an aluminium-covered car can easily double the pricetag. Still, it leaves Les with 40 million in the bank and, since he's a mechanic, he can always save on some bills by working on the car himself.

How the other half live
A syndicate of IT workers from Liverpool scooped the other half of the 91 million prize. Syndicate winner Alex Parry said: 'I think the first thing I will do is treat myself to a blue Vauxhall Corsa, in support of my favourite football team Everton FC.'
