The new Volkswagen Tiguan Match replaces the Tiguan SE, and will cost 450 less than the SE new, too.
The Match is also better equipped, with 700 worth of extras, including touch-screen sat-nav, 17-inch alloys and the latest version of VWs Park Assist self-parking system.
The Tiguan Match is initially available with a choice of nine different diesel and petrol engines, ranging from a
two-wheel drive 1.4-litre TSI 158bhp petrol engine, to a four-wheel drive 2.0-litre TDI 175bhp turbodiesel.
Prices start at 23,245 for the 1.4-litre TSI, and 28,740 for the 2.0 litre turbodiesel; we expect the 2.0 TDI 140 BMotion Tec to be the most popular choice in the range.
The Tiguan Match is available to order now, with the first cars arriving in September 2013.
