Dacia Sandero TCe 100 Bi-Fuel Comfort

You might know that the Dacia Sandero is the UK’s cheapest new car, but don’t go thinking that it’s all Poundland and no pizzazz, because the truth is it’s a great all-rounder in the small car class.
For starters, this Bi-Fuel version can run on either petrol or cheaper liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to help reduce your fuel bills, and it offers slightly punchier performance than the petrol-only version. It’s smoother and quieter than other engines in the range, too.

Then there’s the space on offer. The Sandero is one of the roomiest cars in the class, with a boot that’s even larger than that of the rival Honda Jazz.
And while entry-level versions don’t come with a lot of kit, upgrading to our recommended Comfort trim doesn’t cost a lot more and gives you keyless entry, a touchscreen infotainment system and automatic wipers, among other goodies.
