With this 138bhp petrol engine, the Leon SC has enough power to make the most of the sharp handling and firmer suspension that comes with FR specification.
You don’t have to be driving quickly to enjoy the Leon SC, though – it’s refined and comfortable enough to make even longer motorway journeys perfectly pleasant. There’s also plenty of room for a couple of adults in the back to come along for the ride.
It’s not the sleekest-looking coupe, and some parts of the dashboard don’t live up to the high quality standards of the rest. You can save even more money by going for a cheaper version of the Leon SC if you’re not fussed about performance or sporty handling.
Should I add any options?
FR trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise and climate controls, sports seats, front and rear parking sensors, plus a 5-inch colour touch-screen infotainment system.
Until June 30, Seat is offering buyers who order SE or FR spec cars the Technology Pack for free. The pack includes full LED headlights, sat-nav and digital radio, and would normally cost £1075.
A convenience pack that adds automatic lights and wipers and an auto-dimming rear view mirror is good value at £150.
