New Hyundai Ioniq vs Toyota Prius

2016's five-star Euro NCAP cars

From 2016, Euro NCAP gave new cars tested two ratings where applicable: one for the car with standard equipment and one for a version with an additional safety pack. The child dummies used in crash tests also became larger, being based on a six-year-old and a 10-year-old rather than children aged three and 18 months old. And cars with autonomous emergency braking systems that recognise pedestrians gained extra points.
