2020 Toyota Yaris verdict
Moving into its fourth generation, the all-new Toyota Yaris combines improved efficiency with a dose of extra driver appeal...

As you'd hope from an all-new car, the Yaris has taken a large leap forward, improving on its predecessor's already excellent economy and emissions while being noticeably classier inside and better to drive.
We still have a couple of concerns regarding the sluggish infotainment system and firm ride on 17in wheels, but hopefully a final spit and polish from Toyota's engineers will improve these areas. Don't be surprised to find the Yaris climbing our small car rankings once we've tried the finished product.
