2022 Porsche Cayenne Coupé Turbo GT verdict and specs

If you want something outrageously fast but still need space for your family and their paraphernalia, the Porsche Cayenne Coupé Turbo GT has you covered. So is it the best sports SUV you can buy?...

Verdict

Choosing the quickest Porsche Cayenne Coupé is never going to be cheap, so the near £150,000 for the Turbo GT is to be expected.

It carries a healthy premium over an Audi RS Q8, but does significantly undercut the slower Aston Martin DBX and flamboyant Lamborghini Urus. It does come equipped with all the suspension and chassis upgrades as standard, though, so all you're left to do is spec up how luxurious you want your Turbo GT to be.

Running one of these will be horrendously expensive (especially if it costs £8 for a gallon of petrol). Mind you, if you can afford the asking price, the lack of fuel economy will be of little concern to you, unlike your pangs of environmental guilt.

As a last hoorah for thirsty V8 SUVs, the Turbo GT is so masterfully executed that, if money is no object, it has to be considered amongst the best sports SUVs ever made.
