Face-lifted Peugeot 3008 prices announced

The face-lifted Peugeot 3008 will cost from £16,995 when it goes on sale early next year.

The SUV has had its front styling revised to bring it into line with the recently launched 208 supermini, 2008 mini-SUV and 308 hatchback. The headlights now have a sleeker design and on higher-spec models, xenons are now standard.

Thick chrome edging around the grille and c-shaped surrounds for the foglights complete the front-end changes. At the rear, only a darker tint for the rear light covers gives away the face-lifted car.

All models in the range are now equipped with Bluetooth connectivity as standard, and the mid-level Active trim also gets electric folding door mirrors. A rearview camera that displays on the central dashboard screen is now standard on top-spec Allure models.

The speed readouts that project onto the windscreen in front of the driver now form a full colour head-up display, to help distinguish different information at a glance. The cabin remains as practical as ever, with a split folding tailgate, three-stage boot floor, and a passenger seat that folds flat to load long objects.

The face-lifted Peugeot 3008 costs from £16,995 for the entry level 1.6 VTi Access; a £650 price cut over the outgoing model. The cheapest Active model is now £18,695, while Allure spec cars start at £20,645. There is no change to the price for the range-topping Hybrid4 model, which costs £27,245 in Active trim.

Our previous pick of the 3008 range – the 154bhp 1.6 petrol in Active trim – will no longer be available. To get this engine in the 2014 model, you’ll need to spend £21,500 on an Allure spec car.

The 2014 Peugeot 3008 is available to order now, and will arrive in dealers from January.
