Accessibility & Motability
Usability for people with disability or their carers
Motability - Access
There’s a school of thought that if a car looks attractive, it’ll be a bit awkward to live with. Think of any supercar, and it’s likely that it will be tough to get into. However, the Peugeot 3008 proves that a car can be both good to look at and be easy to live with, making it a good Motability choice.
The good news starts with the doors, which open to an angle of 68 degrees, which is well above the class average. They hardly impinge on your progress at all as you get in and out of the driver’s seat.

Motability - Storage
The boot isn’t the biggest in this class, but it’s still a respectable size at more than 780mm long and 990mm wide at its narrowest point.
All models except the hybrid version have a height-adjustable floor, and when that’s in its highest setting, it allows you to simply slide items in and out with no load lip to navigate. If you fold down the rear seats using the levers at each side of the boot they almost lie flat.
All of that means there is plenty of room for a folded-down wheelchair, and if you fold down the back seats, it’s possible to fit in a chair without collapsing it.
