The Aygo X offers thrifty everyday motoring and is packed with safety tech, but if you need extra rear-seat passenger space, the Hyundai i10 will be a much better fit. The i10 also has a more powerful engine so it gives you a bit of extra pace, too.
Sitting in the middle of the range, Edge brings larger 18-inch wheels, a bigger (8.0in) touchscreen, two-tone metallic paint, climate control, rear privacy glass and automatic windscreen wipers.
The only engine choice available on the Aygo X is a simple 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol. With a modest 71bhp available, performance is leisurely. You can choose between a five-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic.
