2017 Seat Leon Cupra R review - verdict
Seat's hottest hot hatch, the Leon Cupra R, has revised underpinnings and more...
The Leon Cupra R is wincingly expensive when compared with its direct rivals and is aesthetically divisive, but it’s also very well equipped and exclusive and offers a genuine dynamic improvement over the Cupra 300.
Even so, the driving experience is not on a par with that of the less expensive Honda Civic Type R, even though the two are well matched for outright performance. Truth be told, there’s a lightness to the Seat’s controls that holds you at arm's length, whereas the Honda draws you deeper into the driving experience.
