The model
Read full reviewThe Seat Ateca isn’t just great to drive and attractive to look at, it’s also impressively spacious, well equipped and competitively priced. Put simply, if you’re looking for a family SUV that’s also capable of putting a smile on your face, the Ateca needs to be very high on your shopping list.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentSporty FR trim is our favourite because it represents great value for money. It gives you dark tinted rear windows, a spoiler outside, sports seats and aluminium pedals. More importantly, though, you also get a Convenience pack that includes automatic lights and wipers, and an auto-dimming rear view mirror. The more desirable styling is why FR models are expected to hold onto their value better than the cheaper trims.
The engine
See full engine specsThe best choice for most buyers. Its power comes on smoothly and progressively, and allows you to make swift progress over any type of road. It’s the low-down grunt that really impresses, though, so it should be ideal if you plan on loading the Ateca full of people and luggage. Fuel economy is decent, too.
