Since it was unveiled at the Detroit motor show in January 2008, the Passat CC has come in for a bit of a beating by fans studying the photos. Too bland, said many; not adventurous or desirable enough, said many more.
Now it's the turn of Europeans to take a closer look. The car has been put on show in Geneva as part of a more concerted bid to convince us that it looks much better in the metal than in pictures. The clock is ticking for VW on that one because the Passat CC goes on sale in July.
