The luxury electric SUV segment is hard to break into, but the new Polestar 3 has arrived in style. As well as having a BMW iX-beating official range, it’s sharp to drive, cosseting at cruising speed, competitively priced and comes packed with equipment. Its interior is much like the Volvo EX90’s, meaning it’s plush but doesn’t feel especially unique to the 3.
The trim
The list of standard equipment in the Polestar 3 launch edition is extensive, including air suspension, a panoramic glass roof, LED lighting inside and out, retractable door handles with proximity sensing, and 21-inch alloy wheels. The Plus Pack and Pilot Pack are included as standard in the launch edition and include a 25-speaker audio system from Bowers & Wilkins with 3D surround sound and Dolby Atmos capability, soft-closing doors, a head-up display and Pilot Assist.
