Hyundai Kona Electric 1.6 GDi Hybrid Ultimate 5dr DCT [Lux Pack] Review
Category: Electric car
Section: Version review
The Hyundai Kona Electric doesn't move the game on massively from its predecessor, but all the small changes add up to a very well-rounded electric SUV. The long-range version in the entry-level Advance trim is the best option for most buyers, offering the best value for money with the most battery range.
The trim
See full equipmentCosting the same as N Line S trim, Ultimate gives you all of the same equipment but adds a full leather interior and a glass sunroof. It’s expensive, though, so it’s hard to recommend.
The engine
See full engine specsThe Hybrid is faster than the entry-level engine, and impresses most when it comes to efficiency. Its electric motor and battery allow it to drive on electricity alone for short periods, boosting the economy to over 60mpg and dropping the CO2 emissions to 105g/km.
