New Peugeot 2008 vs Audi Q2: verdict
Peugeot is building some fantastic cars at the moment, but does its new 2008 have what its takes to beat the poshest small SUV of them all, the Audi Q2?...

Our verdict
A few years ago, the idea that a small Peugeot SUV could go toe-to-toe with the equivalent from Audi would have been fanciful, but the new 2008, with its lengthy standard equipment list, visually appealing interior and peppy, economical engine, unquestionably can.
Having said that, the Q2 still has what it takes to fend off its bold new rival. Its interior may not be as flashy as the 2008’s, but it feels slightly classier and better built, while its infotainment system is far more user-friendly. Factor in the fact that it’s also sharper to drive and has a better driving position and the Q2 is a deserving winner.
