Infotainment systems
Audi Q5
Apart from entry-level SE trim, all Q5s come with sat-nav as standard. This is displayed by a 7.0in screen that can be upgraded to 8.3in (pictured) as part of a £1395 Technology Pack. The system has an easy-to-use rotary dial controller in front of the gear selector, while the screen’s graphics are sharp. The menus are easy to navigate, while a DAB radio and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring are standard.

All XC60s come with an upright, tablet-style 9.0in touchscreen that includes a DAB radio, sat-nav and Bluetooth. The graphics are sharp, but the menus take a little bit of getting used to. And even when you have, the system is fiddly to use on the move, and slower to respond to inputs than the Q5’s.
