Readers review the 2013 Volkswagen Golf

The Volkswagen Golf has consistently been one of the most popular and best-rated hatchbacks in the UK.

It is now entering its seventh generation, and it is perhaps little surprise that VW has chosen to not drastically change the overall look of the new car.

Underneath, though, it sits on an all-new platform and comes with a selection of efficient new engines.

The order books are already open, and the first cars head out to their new owners in January.
