The Renault Symbioz undercuts Nissan Qashqai on price and has an efficient hybrid engine, but it's left down by its noisy driving manners, budget-feeling interior and disappointing safety score. In short, there are far better alternatives. If you do buy a Symbioz, we recommend going for the entry-level mild-hybrid version.
The trim
Range-topping Iconic Esprit Alpine trim adds a panoramic roof and a 360deg parking camera, but unless you really want those items we don't think it's worth the extra cost over the cheaper trim.
